Pitso on course to complete CAF Pro license

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is on course to complete his CAF Pro licence as he is completing the second module of the qualification in Morocco.

Mosimane was invited by the Confederation of African Football to complete the licence and once he completes the second module, he will have only one more remaining before he graduates.

The 2016 CAF Champions League-winning coach is set to return to South Africa on Thursday and will be available for Sundowns' clash with Bloemfontein Celtic in the Telkom Knockout last 16 on Saturday.

Downs spokesperson Thulani Thuswa told KickOff website: "He will be back on Thursday. He was invited by CAF. It's only for a select few coaches who are invited for the course.

"Remember he was left with two modules to finish. He is busy with this one and then there will be one more after this. It takes a bit long."

In his absence assistant coach Manqoba Mngqithi and goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson have been preparing the Brazilians on the training pitch.

The pair took charge of the side during the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup title 2-1 win last weekend against AmaZulu.
