Pitso most successful coach in PSL history, says Khoza

Cape Town - Premier Soccer League chairperson Irvin Khoza says that Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is the most successful coach in PSL history.

Jingles - as he is affectionately known as in the football fraternity - guided the Chloorkop side to their first CAF Champions League trophy against Zamalek last week.

Khoza believes that Mosimane deserves all the praise and accolades with as his success will benefit the country in future.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it is a fact Pitso Mosimane is the most successful coach in the 30 years of the PSL history,” Khoza said as quoted by the PSL website.

“I have told a story about him coming to see me at our World Cup Bid headquarters at Summer Place, you remember that Dr Jordaan.

“After receiving his coaching certificate, he told me then that he wants to have staying power, today we know he also has standing and running power.

“Congratulations Mr Mosimane, you deserve the success you are receiving. Your success will go along way in helping our nation build our home-grown coaches.

“Thank you, President Motsepe for an unwavering platform on which so much great talent was able to shine.”
