Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane has played down reports linking Mamelodi Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor to Kaizer Chiefs, insisting they are nothing more than speculation.

The 33-year-old Liberian started just once in Masandawana's triumphant 2017/18 Premiership campaign, coming off the bench nine times.
Nevertheless, Mosimane has suggested he wants to keep the former SuperSport United star, who has long since been linked with Amakhosi, claiming there is no reason to believe Laffor feels otherwise.
"In football there'll always be rumours linking everybody everywhere, so... He hasn't said that he wants to go," Mosimane told KickOff.
"We haven't said he must go, he hasn't said he wants to go. There will always be speculation, and sometimes media will blow things out of proportion.
"But it's football. We are part of the industry and we have to deal with that."
Laffor, who in total has scored 49 goals in 233 Premiership appearances, joined Sundowns from Tshwane rivals SuperSport in 2012.
