Pitso has done homework on Sundowns' CAF opponents

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has shared his thoughts on what he knows about their CAF Champions League Group B opponents.

Following their return to Africa's elite club competition, the Brazilians will begin their journey against Algerian club ES Setif, who registered a 5-3 aggregate victory over Etoile du Congo and a 2-2 draw against Al-Merrikh in the first round.

"ES Setif have changed their coach, who might bring in a new system, so we will see," Mosimane told reporters.

"They move the ball quick and they do not dribble. They are a threat at set-pieces and they are organised."

The former Bafana Bafana mentor also highlighted the importance of matching the physical strength of Enyimba, who were crowned back-to-back champions in 2003 and 2004.

The West Africans beat Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel in a penalty shoot-out to reach the group stages.

"West African football is slow, but physical. So we need to make sure we are on par with them," Mosimane continued.

"Zamalek play the same football as Setif. I have seen that they have brought in about five new players, but their system will remain the same."
