Pitso hails Zwane return

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has reiterated the importance of Themba Zwane to the Brazilians after the victory over SuperSport United.

Zwane was a notable absentee in the 1-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in Soweto last Wednesday, due to having picked up his fourth booking of the season in the game prior against Bidvest Wits.

But the 29-year-old returned for the Tshwane derby with SuperSport on Sunday, scoring his side's first goal, while proving himself to be a constant menace on attack with his intelligent movement and skill.

And Mosimane admits that when Zwane is involved, his side are a different beast.

"Whenever Mshishi is around, he plays the music. You know the story," the Masandawana mentor told KickOff.

"Look at the midfield today. It's more like we have one man or two more people extra in the midfield because of Mshishi's movements. Him, Vila and Sirino, they combine well. When these ones are on song, you see the Sundowns play.

"Mshishi is very important to us. We can't talk about why he didn't play against Pirates, it's gone."
