Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League head of communications Luxolo September has confirmed that Orlando Pirates Absa Premiership against Wits on Wednesday, April 25 will be televised.
The news comes after the PSL's Disciplinary Committee had earlier ruled that the game at Orlando Stadium was to be played behind closed doors as punishment for unruly supporter behaviour at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in February last year.
With the sanction coming into affect next Wednesday evening in Johannesburg, it initially appeared as the Pirates fans would miss out on seeing the side have a chance to maintain their challenge on log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the title race.
Speaking to KickOff website, September said: "The game behind closed doors will be on television, with print journalists and TV crews allowed into the stadium."
'Downs will be in action on the same night when they take on Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.
