Pirates starlet returns to Mayfair

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Thembinkosi Lorch has returned to the club after starring for Chippa United on loan during the first half of the campaign.

After having signed for the Sea Robbers from Maluti FET College in 2015, Lorch was subsequently loaned to Cape Town All Stars for the 2015/16 season.

He then moved to Chippa where he shone under head coach Dan Malesela.

As such, it has been confirmed that Lorch has made a return to Bucs and will be available to coach Augusto Palacios in 2017.

The attacking midfielder can play on the wing or in a supporting role to the strikers.

The player earlier told Soccer Laduma about what it means to play for a club as big as Pirates. He said: "I was so happy because not everyone gets a chance to play for one of the biggest teams in the country. I couldn't believe it. Even my family were excited for me."
