Pirates sign French goalkeeper

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have made their first acquisition of the current transfer window by signing French goalkeeper Joris Delle on a free transfer.

Pirates have moved swiftly to bolster their goalkeeping options after the release of Jackson Mabokgwane. Delle was on the books of Dutch Eredivisie Feyenoord up until his contract expired at the end of last season.

29-year-old Delle has played for Metz, Nice and Lens in France, Club Brugge in Belgium as well as NEC and Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
