Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates head coach Kjell Jonevret says his charges will be seeking revenge against Free State Stars this weekend.
The Soweto giants will be looking to reverse their Absa Premiership defeat last week against Stars when the two sides square-off in a Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
Heading into the much anticipated clash, Serame Letsoaka and his Free State side enjoyed an impressive 3-2 league win over the Happy People at the same venue.
However, the Swedish-born Jonevret is fully aware that his side will have to do much better against Ea Lla Koto in order to book a place in the quarter-finals of the Ke Yona competition.
"We have to be honest. Free State Stars were better than us and we have to work harder this Saturday," said Jonevret as he addressed reporters at a press conference.
"We are not discussing which position we want to end up at the end of the season, our focus is to play good football and do the best we can to finish as high as possible. We have to be able to look at ourselves and say we gave it our best.
"We have to do well in the cup game because the positive results there will give us momentum going into the league.
"It’s a tough situation for the club, but there’s a lot of talent here and I see this as an opportunity to do well. It’s football."
