Pirates put 6 players on transfer list

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates confirmed the list of players that have been placed on transfer.

With the transfer window in full force, naturally so will be the speculations in the media about players coming in and exiting a club. However, before making such announcements, Pirates understand that as employers of certain players, the club had to follow the proper procedures as listed under the Labour Relations Act.

Following a meeting with management this week the club’s website confirmed that the following players have been placed on the transfer list:

Sifiso Myeni
Roger Majafa
Letsie Koapeng
Lehlohonolo Majoro
Felipe Ovono
Yassar Mugerwa

Club chairman Irvin Khoza is due to meet more players on Friday to discuss their futures.

Meanwhile, the Pirates reveal it has received an offer for goalkeeper Felipe Ovono.

The Equatorial Guinea international will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to undergo an assessment.
