Pirates 'keeper set to start CBL Cup final if fit

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo is set to start the Carling Black Label Cup final against Kaizer Chiefs though his fitness could be in question.

Khuzwayo is yet to start an official match for the Sea Robbers since joining from Kaizer Chiefs as it appears he is trying to overcome a potentially career-threatening injury.

Nonetheless, should Pirates' physios pass him fit - he is leading the voting to start against Chiefs ahead of the likes of Wayne Sandilands, Siyabonga Mpontshane and Joris Delle.

Meanwhile, Justin Shonga and Augustine are leading the voting further forward in attack for Bucs.

In midfield, Ben Motshwari, Luvuyo Memela Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch lead the voting.

Memela has been in top form in pre-season as he has hit three goals against TS Sporting and TS Galaxy.

The back four remains unchanged with Mthokozisi Dube, Justice Chabalala, captain Happy Jele and Innocent Maela leading the way.

The match between the two teams is set to take place on July 27 at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Pirates' line-up as of July 13:

Brilliant Khuzwayo: 32 232

Mthokozisi Dube: 8583

Justice Chabalala: 9268

Happy Jele: 23 647

Innocent Maela: 13 964

Ben Motshwari: 8102

Luvuyo Memela: 8860

Vincent Pule: 11 743

Thembinkosi Lorch: 17 501

Augustine Mulenga: 37 202
