Pirates coach focusing on positives ahead of CT City clash

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic says his side are staying positive and will look to improve their finishing ahead of the Absa Premiership clash with Cape Town City on Saturday.

Pirates appear favourites to win the title as they have a healthy goal-difference advantage over Mamelodi Sundowns, who are tied on 53 points with Bucs at the top of the standings.

Sundowns managed to keep the pressure on the Sea Robbers on Tuesday night as they beat Black Leopards 2-1 in Thohoyandou.

Nonetheless, 'Micho' is emphasising his team recover well for this weekend's clash against the Citizens so that they can be at their optimal best when it comes to converting the chances.

He told reporters: "We want to remove the pressure from all the players legs, because it's not easy to be under pressure and play.

"Sometimes, legs are not listening and even the clearest possible chances [are missed], like in the last match, which we were not happy with.

"So, we have positive things that we want to keep up and negative or critical things that we want to look at in training sessions ahead of us.

"This is how we shall refocus towards the Cape Town City game."

Kick-off at Athlone Stadium is at 15:00.
