Absa Premiership outfit Cape Town City FC have donated 1 000 medical masks in order to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

"In order to help keep our communities safe, Cape Town City FC has donated 1 000 medical masks to help prevent the spread of #COVID19," the club said in a statement released.

"We challenge all other clubs in the PSL to join our initiative #PSLMaskChallenge #iamCityFC."
