Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates left-back Patrick Phungwayo said he is grateful to be playing regular football once again following his frustrating time on the sidelines.
The former Bidvest Wits defender has featured in all the Buccaneers' games since the arrival of new coach Kjell Jonevret.
Jonevret included the 29-year-old in the starting XI against Polokwane City two weeks ago as well as the more recent stalemate against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
However, Phungwayo has lamented the Soweto giants recent 11 game winless run stating that it is not their intentions to disappoint the supporters.
"It's always a good feeling to be on the football pitch," Phungwayo said.
"But at the same time it's very emotional because our supporters are investing their time and money coming to support us.
"And currently the results are not coming our way but overall I'm happy to be playing football again."
The Buccaneers next host SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium in an Absa Premiership clash on Tuesday eveninig.
The match is set to kick off at 19:30.
