Paulse tips Morris for Europe

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town forward Nathan Paulse has tipped team-mate Tashreeq Morris to succeed in Europe.

Paulse, who previously plied his trade in Sweden with Hammarby, revealed that the 2015 Nedbank Cup Young Player of the Tournament has all the attributes to succeed on European continent.

The 34-year-old also called for Morris' inclusion in the national team. Having graduated from the highly-successful Ikamva academy, Morris made his top-flight debut in the 2013/14 season and has went onto feature in 63 games, netting 11 goals in the process.

"I think he is one of those boys that are humble, down to earth and ever hardworking. He is very intelligent as a footballer and the way he came back from an injury setback recently says a lot about his character," Paulse told The Sowetan.

"He can score goals and that has been witnessed by everyone. For me he has just been unfortunate to have not been a part of the national team by now, that is a question that needs to be asked to the right people [national team coaches].

"He has all the attributes of a great striker and in my opinion, he is destined for a career in Europe if he continues like this."
