Patosi backed for Cape Town City success

Cape Town - Former Premiership star Mkhanyiseli Siwahla believes that Cape Town City attacking midfielder Ayanda Patosi will prove to be a big hit with the Citizens in 2017/18.

Siwahla currently plies his trade for Polish club Proch Pionki after earlier making his name in the PSL with the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old takes the view that Patosi will thrive under club boss John Comitis at City, as he worked with the football supremo during his Ajax days.

"Cape Town City is a good team with good management. I have worked with John Comitis in the past and he is a very good club boss. He has very good knowledge of football," he told Soccer Laduma website.

"I rate him among the people that should be involved in football for a very long time. He has the knowledge of grooming a player from a young age to making him a star.

"He (Patosi) is in a good space. He is in a good team and I hope that he will grab the opportunity in a right way."
