Parker targets Soweto derby win

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker is determined to claim victory over rivals Orlando Pirates in the first Soweto derby of the season at the end of this month.

Chiefs will take on their arch-rivals in the Carling Black Label at the FNB Stadium and both sides will be looking to make a winning start to the season after ending last term trophyless.

"The Black Label Cup is a great game and a big event. Soweto Derbies are always massive," Parker told KickOff.

"Winning the derby is huge and it automatically gives you that boost of confidence heading into the new season.

"It's very important that we do get the bragging rights and that we win the game."
