Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs star Bernard Parker has added another string to his bow by completing a Sports Management qualification.
As the 33-year-old forward enters the twilight of his career he has already started preparing for life after his professional playing career comes to an end.
"A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Success is no accident," Parker's wife Wendy wrote on social media.
"It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. There is no substitute for hard work, 23 or 24 hours a day. We are so proud of you Mr Parker."
Parker has featured in 11 of Amakhosi's 12 Absa Premiership games this season, contributing with two assists and helping the team open up a 10-point lead at the top of the standings.
Amakhosi are back in action on Saturday, December 7 when they take on Bloemfontein Celtic.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
