Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker Gustavo Paez has set himself a target of netting 10 goals by the end of 2017.
The Amakhosi marksman has already netted three goals in six league matches this season and is optimistic he can treble his output by the time the PSL goes into the Christmas break.
"For me, okay I have three goals. I want to score, I say maybe 10 from now until December, but it all depends on the team and me to take the chances.
"We have to try to create more occasions [chances] to arrive at that number," he said.
The 27-year-old Venezuelan marksman is in his second season with Chiefs, having arrived midway through the last campaign.
He has become a regular starter for Steve Komphela's side and will be looking to add to his goal tally when Chiefs meet Baroka FC in a league match on Saturday evening at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, although he is also wary of Bakgaga's attacking capabilities.
"We know Baroka is a very fast team and they are similar to Golden Arrows (Chiefs drew 0-0 with Arrows last weekend). We have to try to defend well," Paez cautioned.
Kick off is at 18:00.
