Otladisa set to fight for place at Mamelodi Sundowns

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns winger Katlego Otladisa is set to fight for his place in the Brazilians squad next season after returning from loan.

Otladisa spent the second half of 2018/19 at Cape Umoya United in the National First Division but will return for pre-season with Downs ahead of 2019/20.

The 22-year-old was signed from Platinum Stars in January 2018 but then was loaned back to Dikwena for the remainder of that campaign.

The young star was sent to United in the recently concluded campaign in a bid to regain match fitness following an injury.

He said: "I enjoyed my stay at Cape Umoya and the move was worth it. Remember I came to Sundowns after a long term injury and I needed game time to regain my fitness.

"It was not going to be easy to break into the team with such quality without match fitness.

"I needed that and now I have gained my confidence. I am ready to fight for my place at Sundowns."

The right-sided starlet made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Mother City-based outfit while scoring two goals.
