Opening blitz puts Sundowns back on top

Cape Town - Two goals in the first six minutes of the match helped Mamelodi Sundowns overcome Golden Arrows at Loftus Versveld on Tuesday evening.

The win puts Pitso Mosimane's men back at the top of the Absa Premiership on 56 points where they lead Orlando Pirates by two point going into the final game of the season.

Sundowns opened the scoring in the second minute thanks to Hlompho Kekana with Themba Zwane adding a second just four minutes later.

And those two goals were enough bring the team from Pretoria the important win they needed.

Sundowns are now away to Free State Stars at 15:00 on Saturday with a win securing them the league title.
