Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns will be aiming to take a step closer towards securing their place in the CAF Champions League knockout stage when they lock horns with Egyptian giants Zamalek in Cairo on Sunday.
Pitso Mosimane's men are currently top of Group B on three points, tied with Zamalek, and will put themselves in pole position to finish as the group winners if they manage to see off the challenge of the Egyptians.
However, they reigning Premiership champions have a whole host of injury concerns to contend with ahead of Sunday's crunch clash.
Khama Billiat, Thabo Nthete, Mzikayise Mashaba and Kennedy Mweene are currently on the treatment table and could well miss out.
In the expected absence of Mweene, Wayne Sandilands and Denis Onyango are vying for a start in Sunday's fixture.
And Onyango, who missed Downs' last two games through suspension, insists they are ready to face Zamalek.
"We are ready for them," Onyango told the club's official website.
"We have been working hard, and we are determined that nothing will stop us."
Kick-off is at 23:05 (SA Time).
