Okwuosa to leave Chippa

Cape Town - Chippa United boss Chippa Mpengesi has confirmed Nigerian defender James Okwuosa will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Media speculation has heavily linked Okwuosa with a move to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates in the off-season.

Midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni was also reported to be on his way out of the club, but Mpengesi has denied this.

"Yes, James is leaving and not Sangweni," Mpengesi told KickOff.

The Chilli-Boys will face Kaizer Chiefs in their final match of the season at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
