Cape Town - Nigerian defender James Okwuosa is expected to finalise his contract negotiations with Orlando Pirates as the Buccaneers look to add depth to their defence.
Okwuosa helped Chippa United to an impressive six place in the Premiership last season, but left the club after his contract was allowed to expired.
Reports suggested the 25-year-old had signed a pre-contract agreement with Pirates back in January, but there appears to be some issue with the arrangement as he is yet to join the rest of the squad for pre-season training.
"I am going to be meeting with Pirates, hopefully tomorrow," Okwuosa told KickOff.
"I have a pre-contract of three years that I signed in January and will be meeting the club for the sake of clarity about certain issues that I have heard.
"I was meant to have met with them today but I couldn't because of certain reasons."
