Cape Town - Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori says all the speculation surrounding his future will not stop him from continuing to work hard and improve.

The Ghanaian shot-stopper has been in inspired for the Team of Choice this season with his performances catching the attention of plenty of clubs, including Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ofori said the fact that teams are interested in him shows that his hard work has not gone unnoticed.

In quotes published on KickOff, Ofori said: "Yeah, every player's dream is to make sure that he's getting all opportunities whilst he is playing.

"It's a very good sign, it means you are working hard. It shows you are working hard; you just have to continue working hard.

"It's not that because the team is saying that, you then go to sleep and be comfortable.

"It's time for you to work hard and hope everything that teams want from you as a player will come."

Maritzburg United head coach Eric Tinkler has already said that it would take a big-money offer to coax his goalkeeper away from the club.
