Ntshangase moves on loan to Team of Choice

Cape Town - Maritzburg United chairperson Farook Kadodia has confirmed the club have signed midfielder Phumlani Ntshangase on loan for the 2018/19 season.

Ntshangase spent part of last season on loan at SuperSport United and appears to be out of Wits' plans for the time being.

Prior to that the 24-year-old had made 86 Absa Premiership appearances for the Clever Boys though in recent seasons his fortunes have taken a nosedive for the Gavin Hunt-coached outfit.

Kadodia told his club's official website: "We welcome Phumlani to the Team of Choice, he's a local KZN boy and we expect to him to settle in well at our club.

"A quality, well-rounded midfielder, Ntshangase will bring some different and exciting options to the game-plan of the head coach (Eric Tinkler).

"I met Phumlani and found him to have a well-disciplined background, a player's character is a key aspect, and we're confident he'll add good value to our team."
