Ntshangase: Dax, Manyama will impact positively

Cape Town - Siphelele Ntshangase says new additions to the Kaizer Chiefs squad - Andriamirado 'Dax' Andrianarimanana and Lebogang Manyama, will bring much value.

Andrianarimanana was cleared this week by FIFA to play for Amakhosi, while Manyama has now enjoyed two weeks of training with his new team after arriving from Turkey.

According to the Chiefs website, both players could possibly make their debuts against Cape Town City in a league game on Saturday afternoon, and Ntshangase is excited about what they can potentially bring to the team.

"Dax and Lebo are very good players and their availability will have a positive impact on the team," he said.

The former Black Leopards midfield maestro has himself made a promising start to the new campaign, but does not plan to rest on his laurels.

"I didn't get many opportunities to play last season," Ntshangase says. "I am happy to get game-time this season, although I am not as yet entirely happy with my performances so far. I need to get better and I am working hard at training to do that."

According to Ntshangase, the Glamour Boys will be warmly welcomed by their fans in the Western Cape and he hopes to send them home smiling.

"Playing in Cape Town feels like playing at home. Our supporters always come out in numbers to support us in the Mother City. We are looking forward to the game.

"As Kaizer Chiefs we always go for the three points and will do the same on Saturday," he said.

Kick-off is at 15:00.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
