Cape Town - New Orlando Pirates midfielder Riyaad Norodien believes coach Muhsin Ertugral will turn him into a more complete footballer.
The 21-year-old began training with the Buccaneers last week after joining from Ajax Cape Town.
Norodien could make his debut for Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup against Kaizer Chiefs on 31 July.
"The first few days of preseason went very well, I arrived in Johannesburg on Thursday and my first training session began on Friday," Norodien told Socccer Laduma.
"Being with Muhsin, I know what it's like to work with him, so I am pushing myself to reach new levels and heights, because I'm at Orlando Pirates now, one of the biggest clubs in South Africa. Or rather, the biggest club in South Africa.
"Now it's just for me to change my mindset and work harder to improve on certain areas where I lack, and seeing that I am going to be up against big name players for my spot in the squad, I just have to work hard and be focused all the time."
