Cape Town - Orlando Pirates interim coach Augusto Palacios remains in charge of Bucs despite numerous reports linking the club with a number of high profile coaches from across the world.
Palacios took over from Muhsin Ertugral on a temporary basis last year and since then the side have reportedly been on the look out for a permanent appointment in the role.
A few coaches have been linked with Pirates in recent times. Former Free State Stars coach Giovanni Solinas as well as Ruud Krol are some of the candidates linked with the job.
According to Soccer Laduma, Palacios is focused on his task of managing the Sea Robbers and is motivated to help turn around the side's fortunes.
"Yes, that's correct, but the club will decide," Palacios said.
"For me, it is all about focusing on one game at a time and not worrying about what is going to happen in January or anything like that.
"I'm employed by the club, so whatever decision they take, I will support it fully."
