Cape Town - Maritzburg
United defender Bandile Shandu says the club won't make special plans
to deal with Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro in Tuesday's
Premiership clash.
The Team of Choice host the Sea Robbers in a league match at Harry Gwala Stadium, and both outfits will no doubt be seeking a win.
Pirates have not won in three matches while the Team of Choice will look to continue a run that has seen the side lose just once in their last six fixtures.
Nonetheless, Shandu has revealed that Ndoro will not be treated in a different way when the two sides meet. The Zimbabwe international has 11 goals in 11 league matches in 2016/17.
He told the Daily Sun: "Pirates are dangerous. They are even more dangerous since they haven't been winning. They are scary when they're not doing well.
"They have international players with vast experience. We can't say we’ll give Tendai Ndoro special treatment. We don't want to put ourselves under unnecessary pressure. Yes, we know we are owing our fans because we haven't won at home."
Tuesday's action gets underway from 19:30 in Pietermaritzburg.
