Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Siyabonga Nkosi believes Lucky Baloyi should embrace the competition for midfield places with Enocent Mkhabela and Keanan Buchanan.
Amakhosi have bolstered their squad with eight new signings in a bid to vastly improve from a poor previous season, where they finished without any silverware.
Nkosi has advised the 22-year-old Baloyi to remain at the club, as he has much to contribute to their objectives.
"You know, Lucky is a good player. He is good on the ball. He works hard," Nkosi told Goal.com website.
"I think for the role that he is playing at Chiefs, I think his game needs a bit of style because he is a midfielder and the position that he is playing, he needs to be doing everything.
"He needs to be defending, he needs to be keeping the ball, but he needs to be effective in terms of creating opportunities for the team and also his entries into the box and getting on the score-sheet.
"So, these are the things he needs to do more like getting on the score-sheet. So, he needs to do that more often then I think he will be a full starter for Chiefs because he is capable."
