Cape Town - Cape Town City midfielder Aubrey Ngoma is thrilled about starting a new chapter in his career with the newest club in the Premiership.
The 26 year-old forms part of a dozen players who were retained when Mpumalanga Black Aces was sold and moved to the Mother City.
Ngoma and his team-mates will be looking to win the heart and imagination of the Capetonians where they will rival Ajax Cape Town.
"I'm excited, a bit of mixed emotions, I'm excited and also nervous, but so far everything has run smoothly, but you know we are here to work, and can't wait to get the training sessions going," Ngoma told Soccer Laduma.
"We are here to represent Cape Town, and I feel like the players are ready and we are looking forward to the challenge.
"We want to make Cape Town our fortress like we did in Mpumalanga. We want to make it a fortress so that when teams come here, they know that they are going to have to work to get anything from us.
"I am actually excited you know. I think when it comes to the derby, it is going to be more numbers in the stadium and we are looking forward to it and I don't think there is any player who wants to lose a derby."
