Cape Town - Former Mamelodi Sundowns winger, Koketso Mmotong, has encouraged Cape Town City forward Aubrey Ngoma to move to Chloorkop to take his game to another level.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Sundowns since last season but the Citizens are keen to keep their star man.
In addition, a move to the Brazilians could be delayed as the player is recovering from a serious knee injury.
Nonetheless, Mmotong, who spent over three seasons with 'Downs and later retired in 2013, told Soccer Laduma website, "I think Ngoma has been tremendous since moving from (Orlando) Pirates to (Mpumalanga) Black Aces and Cape Town City.
"I think Sundowns would be a great place for him to play. There are so many great players at Sundowns in all departments, but, going forward, they are probably the best.
"With the quality players that Sundowns have, not to disrespect City at all, pound for pound, they have better quality players and he'll be able to shine with them."
