Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele concedes that he needs to put in extra effort to break into the regular starting line-up at the star-studded Brazilians.
Since joining Sundowns at the beginning of the season, Ngele has featured on a rotation basis depending on the tactical approach of the technical team.
Ngele though is undeterred and is content to compete for starting places with quality teammates like Themba Zwane, Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat and Anthony Laffor.
"I haven't really lived up to expectations as much as I would have liked, but I am happy. I can do more but I am fighting for a starting place with the country's best players, so who am I to moan," Ngele told Soccer Laduma.
"We complement each other and if another is not playing, we encourage each other because of the value and respect we give to our fans.
"At Stars I used to play behind the striker. But it is not about the position; it is about the team winning.
"If you look at the composition of our squad, you will agree with me that we have gifted players, so if the coach wants me to play at number 10, I am willing to do that."
