Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeping coach Brian Baloyi has picked Sherwin Naicker and Brighton Mhlongo as the top two goalkeepers in the Premiership.
Naicker has been one of the stellar performers for Jomo Cosmos this season and Baloyi has praised the 24-year-old for his displays.
The former Bafana Bafana international also added that Orlando Pirates keeper Mhlongo could succeed Itumeleng Khune in the national team if given a chance.
"I am obviously happy with a few goalkeepers," Spiderman told Footbal411.
"Most of the time they've been called on they have really stood out. And amongst themselves they've won a number of man-of-the-match accolades.
"I've been most impressed with the Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper, Sherwin Naicker. I think he's been outstanding throughout this campaign so far and he seemed to be improving with each game he plays.
"And the other one is Brighton," Baloyi continued. "After what happened at Pirates with Senzo [Meyiwa], people never gave him a chance.
"Everybody thought that Pirates needed another high-profile goalkeeper. But he has been very patient.
"And now you can count him as one of the very top goalkeepers in the country and if given a chance one day he will be donning the national team jersey.
"He was very unfortunate to have heard the injury but ever since returning, he has pretty much stabilised Pirates' defence again."
