Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Sifiso Myeni believes his experience in the Nedbank Cup will help the club in the final against SuperSport United on Saturday.
The 27-year-old will be playing in his third final of the Ke Yona competition, having won the trophy with Bidvest Wits and Orlando Pirates previously.
"It's my third final. I have some good memories of playing in this competition," Myeni said.
"In 2010, when I was at Wits, we were privileged enough to be the first ones to play at the FNB Stadium (after its World Cup revamp) and we won it."
"After that I played against Wits in the final and I scored against them. Hopefully I will get another goal in the final."
"This cup has been good to me because I have scored goals at crucial times. The last time I played in the final (in 2014), I did not score until we got to the final."
The Buccaneers will be travelling to Peter Mokaba Stadium as the away team, however Myeni is not worried about that, as they've played away from home and come back victorious in the past.
"I scored there last season when we beat SuperSport, so I have some good memories from there. Going to Peter Mokaba Stadium won't be a problem," he added. "We have played away from home throughout the competition this season and we have come this far."
