Motshwari bemoans lapse in concentration

Cape Town - Despite claiming the man-of-the-match award in Orlando Pirates 2-2 draw against Cape Town City, Ben Motshwari still thinks they let themselves down.

The Sea Robbers conceded a late equaliser to drop two points and open the door for Mamelodi Sundowns to potentially win the Premiership title.

"I dont know what to say, We conceded an early goal once again," Motshwari told Supersport.

"Last minute we lose concentration in such a crucial game. I'm lost for words. We should never have conceded such a goal. It was a lack of concentration in the dying minutes of the game. Like I said that was an easy goal to concede. I'm disappointed. I think as a club you know we did this to ourselves.

"We can't give up, We have to soldier on. We'll take this point and hopefully it will mean something at the end of the season.

"We let ourselves down. We started badly. We ended badly. We showed character after they scored. We came at them. We scored two goals. We should have wrapped it up. We had so many chances. But this is football how is. If you don't take your chances, this is what happens."
