Motsepe hails Mosimane's work ethic

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe has praised the work ethic coach Pitso Mosimane has brought to the club.

Although Sundowns had challenges at the start of the season, the team has managed to bounce back and are leading the race to the title.

Motsepe has urged the club's supporters to stand behind Mosimane at all times after the coach came under-fire for struggles earlier in the season.

"I'm very proud with the work Pitso Mosimane and the technical team have done, I really wish them the best," Motsepe told KickOff.

"We need discipline, there are times where you just have to tell the supporters that, 'listen, we have to look at what is in the long-term interests of the club'.

"We understand your emotional disappointment, your desire for success, we agree with you. But we've got to take a long-term view, which is Sundowns must continue to do as well as they can.

Motsepe said that he is "proud" of Mosimane's work ethic and commitment to the club and wants the Sundowns fans to throw all their support behind him.

The renowned businessman says that at the end of the season he will sit down with management and look at how the club performed as a whole.
