Motsepe confirms Sundowns will parade CAF trophy

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns chairperson Patrice Motsepe has confirmed the club will parade the CAF Champions League trophy on Monday, October 31.

According to Soccer Laduma, Motsepe revealed that a parade will take place in Tshwane to celebrate the Chloorkop sides achievement.

Sundowns defeated Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate in order to claim their first Champions League trophy

"We have to show the appreciation to the whole country by parading the trophy," Motsepe said.

"We will parade the trophy on Monday but we will reveal the details in due course.

"Everyone in South Africa deserves to see the trophy and that's why we will parade it to as many parts as possible," Motsepe concluded.

Meanwhile, Pitso Mosimane will have to shift his charges attention to the Telkom Knockout on Thursday when they face Polokwane City.

Kick-off is at 18:30.
