Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has welcomed the Brazilians' reinstatement to the CAF Champions League.
CAF disqualified AS Vita from the group stage of the competition, replacing them with Sundowns for fielding a suspended player Idrissa Traore in the preliminary round against Mafunzo of Zanzibar.
Although he is happy to make a return to continental football, the former Bafana Bafana coach concedes the club will have to rework their programme.
"Of course its exciting news to be back in the Champions League. That’s the big one and we want to be in that space," Mosimane told his club's website.
"As you can imagine, we had already made our programme. Players had already booked their trips back home and holidays," he added.
"In South Africa we have the quality to play in continental competitions against other top sides and we have seen that.
"We have to take what we learnt from our matches. We know its win at all costs in Africa, but Sundowns will maintain their integrity and represent the country well," Mosimane concluded.
