Mosimane wants to win every game

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that their target is to win as many games as possible in the Premiership and cup competitions.

The Brazilians clinched the league and Telkom Knockout double last season and are through to the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Mosimane is also looking to capture his first MTN8 title as his side prepare to face Chippa United in the first-leg of their last-four encounter on Sunday.

"We are not looking at which trophies we've won or haven't won, no! I have a passion for each and every game," Mosimane told KickOff.

"After the Tuks game, in the morning, we were training yet we won the league, because we were preparing for Bidvest Wits.

"I am not a coach to calculate trophies. People put certificates on the wall it's not my style. I want to win every game; every game to me is important.

"How many trophies have we won? You know the history and statistics; I really don't care about those things.

"I told the boys when I came here, whenever we enter the pitch and see a trophy at the entrance you must try to get your hands on it. That's the motto."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
