Mosimane to chat with Laffor

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane intends to engage with mercurial attacker Anthony Laffor after pulling him out at half-time in the 3-0 MTN8 loss to Wits on Saturday.

Laffor has been the catalyst for Sundowns in recent games where he scored crucial goals that have made the difference for his team.

The Liberian was handed a rare start in the final at the Mbombela Stadium, but at the miday mark was replaced with Yannick Zakri.

"That's the beauty of football, that's why our jobs are tough. I did the honourable thing, I did what I was supposed to do," Mosimane told KickOff.

"The guy has been scoring and is in the line-up. At half-time I changed, it's not coming out, he also understands it.

"I am there, I played my cards well. It's for me now as coach as to what I will do in the next match. We will see, I have to speak to him, I have to find out how he is feeling. It's a tough one guys."

The Brazilians will face Egyptian giants Zamalek in the first-leg of CAF Champions League final at Lucas Moripe Stadium on October 15.
