Mosimane hails Tuks fighting spirit

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has issued a warning to upcoming opponents that relegation candidates University of Pretoria are no pushovers.

Sundowns secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over AmaTuks courtesy of goals from Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro, while Thabo Mnyamane pulled one back.

Sympathetic to their neighbours' struggles, the Sundowns coach believes AmaTuks have the fighting spirit to survive relegation this season.

"I said to them, 'If you play like this and give this effort, I don't think you'll lose easily'," Mosimane told KickOff

"I want to warn whoever goes to them to be very careful. If you think Tuks are pushovers, no my friend, I have been here and played other teams and they are not pushovers."

The second-from-bottom Tuks face joint-leaders Mpumalanga Black Aces at Loftus Versveld on Sunday.
