Moseamedi targets another win over Chiefs

Cape Town - Maritzburg United striker Judas Moseamedi is confident they can claim another win against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

The Team of Choice shocked the Glamour Boys last month as they eliminated them from the Telkom Knockout Cup at the semi-final stage with a 2-1 victory.

Now Moseamedi has declared that United can pull off another win against the Absa Premiership leaders when the two teams clash in a league game at Harry Gwala Stadium.

"If we stick to our plan, we will win. If we apply ourselves the same way, we did in Mpumalanga when we played them in the Cup we will win. We have to work harder and put in the shift," said Moseamedi, as quoted by IOL.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed playing against the big clubs this season and scored against Mamelodi Sundowns as United lost 2-1 in the TKO final.

"I'm not only doing it against the big teams. I also want to do it against other teams," he added.

"At this point in time, I seem to have become luckier against the so-called big teams. I want to convert and score more goals if I get opportunities

"We need to lift our heads high. We want to finish the year on a high. We should focus more on the coming games and forget about our (TKO) defeat.

"A win on Sunday, we will give us motivation. We will go into the second round with more confidence."
