Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns legend Zane Moosa believes the Tshwane club is the right fit for playmaker Sibusiso Vilakazi.
Sundowns beat Kaizer Chiefs to the signature of Vilakazi after reaching an agreement with Wits.
In what proved to be a big transfer deal, Wits got Mogakalodi Ngele and Cuthbert Malajila in exchange for Vilakazi.
Moosa has backed the former PSL Footballer of the Season to make his mark with the Brazilians.
"I think it's been a long time coming. Sundowns have been pursuing him for a number of seasons already," Moosa told Soccer Laduma.
"I'm not surprised. It's almost like it was inevitable to see him at Sundowns. The Sundowns family will be happy with their latest addition because we're talking about a player who was Player of the Season a few years back.
"Last year wasn't exactly a memorable season, because he was injured a lot, but he still managed to score seven goals in the league and he'll be a welcome addition to any team."
