Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Bernard Molekwa has praised Mogamat Jacobs following his return to action from an 18-month spell on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old midfielder played 88 minutes for Rise and Shine's MultiChoice Diski Challenge team, having nearly seen his career ended by a car accident in March last year.
"After he recovered from the accident, he has been working hard in training. He played for the MultiChoice Diski Challenge side to gain fitness," Molekwa was quoted as saying by SowetanLIVE website.
"With what he gave (against Ajax), it was okay. I made a tactical substitution to take him out the game, but his legs couldn't carry him anymore after being out for such a long time.
"He's a very good player, he's part of our plans and we still believe he will add a lot of value to this club."
Jacobs will hope to be part of Molekwa's squad that takes on Free State Stars on Tuesday evening.
Kick off is at 19:30.
