Kaizer Chiefs defender Kgotso Moleko has made it clear that he believes they will lift the Absa Premiership trophy at the end of the season.
Amakhosi are in a strong position to end their run of fruitless campaigns this season as they sit at the top of the table with a seven-point lead over second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.
Even though the title is far from secured, Moleko is convinced this will be the year Chiefs finally return to the top of South African football.
"Ja‚ we are going all the way. From here. I don't know about my teammates. But for me‚ I have a confidence about us and I'm definitely sure about that - we are going all the way‚" Moleko said, according to SowetanLive.
"I think most of the guys now want it more. Some of them haven't won it before.
"So I think they have started realising that it's good to win‚ and the stake is there - it's all about how (much) you want it."
Moleko went on to explain that he felt the belief in the Chiefs squad grow from early in the season, along with their desire for silverware.
"Ja‚ I'll say I think I've been picking up things from since the preseason‚" he said.
"The changing room's different now‚ training here is different. Everything's different here this season.
"So I can say I can see it - we want it more."
