Cape Town - Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani
Mokwena has played down reports linking him with moves away from the
club, insisting that he is happy where he is.
The 34-year-old is reportedly in the cross-hairs of both SuperSport United and Polokwane City. However, he has revealed that he isn't considering a move elsewhere.
"I've read those [reports], but I don't know anything about that," Mokwena told a press conference at the PSL awards on Monday.
"What I know is that I'm extremely happy at Orlando Pirates and I'm looking forward to the future with Pirates."
The young coach also hinted at the fact he may not be ready to move on just yet, and added that he is not eager to add any more fuel to the rumours be talking about them at length.
He continued: "When I used to go shopping with my mother I used to ask for certain things, and when you asked for certain things that were not good for your health, she would slap your hand and say, 'no, you have to wait a little bit; these things are not good for you'.
"So I think there are certain things in life that we would all love to have but unfortunately, maybe we can't afford them or they are not accessible and they are not available. That's the story. I don't want to talk about rumours, because if I talk about rumours, I just intensify them."
