Mokeke extends Cape Town City stay

Cape Town - Cape Town City midfielder Thato Mokeke has signed a new three-year deal to remain with Benni McCarthy-coached side.

Mokeke, who was formerly of Supersport United, played 17 games in all competition last season, scoring one goal.

"Cape Town City is pleased to announce that Thato Mokeke has signed a new 3 year contact that will keep him with the Citizens until 2022," read a statement on the club's officlal Twitter account.

"Here’s to many more outstanding performances in 2019/20."
