Modise pumped up for MTN8 final

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise expects Saturday's MTN8 final against Bidvets Wits to be a great game because of both teams' attacking prowess.

The Chloorkop-based outfit seek to maintain their momentum ahead of the CAF Champions League final by clinching the top-eight trophy.

"That list of names - especially in attack - will definitely have fans licking their lips," he told KickOff.

"It is nice to play games like this,"

The 33-year-old believes the match against Wits will be an excellent showcase of football.

"I mean to play games where not everyone is sure about who will win on Saturday is what makes the game exciting. You are playing against a good team, that is what you want as a player and that is what the supporters also want," he added.

"If I was a fan, remember I am a fan of this game before I stand as a footballer, these are the kind of games that I want to watch. So I am glad that we are playing against a good side and come Saturday people are going to enjoy a good game."

Kick-off is at 17:00.
